Clowndimonium
to perform at picnic Sunday, June 6th
The
Morris Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles is happy to
announce the performance of Clowndimonium during the Eagles'
Free Community Picnic, Sunday, June 6th at Eastside Park in
Morris.
The clown troupe, based in Fargo, ND. will provide fun and
entertainment to kids of all ages throughout the park, as
well as a special stage show at 1:30 p.m. check out their
website at: www.clowndimonium.com.
The picnic is free for all people who attend. Picnic goers
have the choice of hamburgers and hot dogs, in addition to
chips, baked beans and an ice cream sundae, with your choice
of toppings.
The clown troupe adds to the list of entertainment and demonstrations
planned during the free community picnic.
The Morris Police Department will be providing a demonstration
of Jake, the K9 Narcotics Dog Program at 11:15 a.m. Officer
T.J. Voges will be demonstrating Jake's capabilities sniffing
out narcotics and other illegal drugs. The Morris K9 Narcotics
Program was made possible by a generous contribution by the
Morris Eagles.
The Morris Community Band plays in the Killoran Band Shell
at 12:30 p.m.
The Morris Fire Department will be on hand to show off their
newest purchase - a new water truck, which the Morris Eagles
recently supported with a $10,000 contribution. Local firefighters
will be giving kids, young and old, an up-close look at the
tools they use to fight fires.
The Morris Eagles invites everyone from the community to come
out and have lunch on the Eagles.
The Morris Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles was chartered
in 1904 and is celebrating its 100th year serving the Morris
area June 4-6, 2004. The mission of the Eagles is helping
the local community through social events, charitable contributions
and volunteerism.
