Community Band to perform at picnic Sunday, June 6th
The
Morris Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles is happy to
announce the performance of the Morris Community Band during
the Eagles' Free Community Picnic, Sunday, June 6th at Eastside
Park in Morris.
The band will take the Killoran Band Shell at 12:30 p.m.
The Community Band, known for playing great band numbers during
community events throughout the area, will be joining other
great acts during the three-hour community picnic sponsored
by the Morris Eagles Club as part of the Morris Eagles' 100th
birthday celebration.
The picnic is free for all people who attend. Picnic goers
have the choice of hamburgers and hot dogs, in addition to
chips, baked beans and an ice cream sundae, with your choice
of toppings.
The Morris Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles was chartered
in 1904 and is celebrating its 100th year serving the Morris
area June 4-6, 2004. The mission of the Eagles is helping
the local community through social events, charitable contributions
and volunteerism.
