Billboard greeting visitors to centennial

If you're driving through Morris, Minnesota in the next couple of months, chances are that you may see Morris Aerie #620's new billboard advertising the aerie's upcoming centennial celebration June 4-6, 2004.

The sign, which was installed April 9th, will greet and inform visitors who are coming from the North of on Highway 9, just four blocks away from Morris Aerie #620.

Besides touting the date of the centennial celebration, the new billboard also advertises the aerie's new web site address. The aerie is hoping that people will become interested in the events surrounding the Eagles' centennial and log on to the website to find complete and up-to-date information regarding the celebration.

Reading "Proudly serving our community through volunteerism and charitable contributions" the billboard thanks the community/partnership that has been formed over the past 100 years.

The billboard will be up through the second week of June 2004.
