The evening of Thursday, June 3rd kicks off the centennial weekend with an invitation-only supper for the aerie's and auxiliary's past presidents, in addition to special guests from the district, state and grand aeries.

On Friday, June 4th, the Morris Eagles holds its annual golf tournament at Pomme de Terre Golf Course. Also on Friday, Jimmy Jensen will play classic favorites during the Old Time Music Dance at the Eagles from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Afterwards, you can sing along with Tresie's Karaoke from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

At 9:00 p.m., The Eagles will host a street dance in the parking lot featuring 'The Front Fenders,' a great band from Fargo, ND singing your favorites from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

To cap off the weekend, The Morris Aerie is hosting a free Community Picnic at Eastside Park on Sunday June 6th beginning at noon. Hamburgers, brats and hot dogs along with chips and ice cream sundaes will be served until everything is gone. Make sure to come early!

Instituted in 1904, the Morris Eagles Aerie #620's mission is to help the community through volunteerism, charitable contributions and social events. The majority of contributions from the Morris Aerie go toward our community's children and elderly programs, including Community Education, Morris Senior Citizens Center, and the Morris Area School District.

The Morris Eagles also benefit the area's public safety departments such as the Morris Fire Department, Morris Police Department and Stevens County Sheriff's Office.

The Morris Eagles asks that you put June 4-6, 2004 on your calendar and help the Eagles celebrate 100 years in the Morris area!
