The
Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international organization
whose mission is 'People Helping People.' And for 100 years,
Morris Aerie #620 of Morris, Minnesota has been doing just
that.
Instituted
in May 1904, Morris Aerie #620 has been a partner and friend
of the Morris community in numerous civic projects, special
events and charitable giving to hundreds of civic and community
groups. The impact of Morris Aerie #620 is felt deep and wide.
Over
330 men and 120 women are proud to call themselves members
of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Morris. The Eagles is
an organization where anyone can become a member. Even you!
Locally,
Morris Aerie #620 works hard to support programs and projects
benefiting our area children and seniors. Projects such as
playground equipment, field trips, and filling sandboxes,
are just a fraction of the projects the Morris Eagles accomplish.
The Morris Eagles supports many important and worthwhile programs
including community education, Morris Public Schools, Salvation
Army and local scout troops.
The Morris
Aerie is especially proud to work with community public safety
departments such as the Morris Fire Department, Morris Police
Department and the Stevens County Sheriff's Department. Like
the citizens they serve, the Morris Eagles understands the
importance of these public safety departments. Funding projects
including the Morris Police Department's K9 Narcotics Program,
the Sheriff Department's 911 Call Center, and the Morris Fire
Department's new fire truck, help make our community safe
for everyone.
Community-service
oriented organizations such as the Morris Eagles help shape
the community. The Morris Eagles is here to help make our
community a safe and enjoyable one in which to live - for
the past 100 years - and for the next 100 years!
